The Avalanche out of Denver Colorado play their home games at Pepsi Center. They were formerly the Quebec Nordiques of the WHA and early NHL. In 1995 they moved to their current home in Denver and in the next season they went on to win their first Stanley cup. They won their second and most recent cup in 2001, and have been fighting since then to get another crack at lord Stanley’s hardware.
